Webster University's remarkable history reflects a resolve to equalize higher education. It was founded in 1915 by the Loretto sisters, who wanted to make education accessible to everyone.
We have spent the last 40 years creating an action-oriented global network of academics, staff, students, and alumni who create strong links with one another and their communities all around the world in recognition of the increasing interdependence of our world. Today, we provide educational services to over 10,000 students in 50 residential, metropolitan, overseas, and military locations.
