Social Work BA Honours

Year 1: You’ll develop essential professional insight and communication skills for effective social work, setting the stage for your subsequent years. The course structure aligns with Social Work England’s Professional Standards.

Years 2 & 3: You’ll complete two professional placements in diverse settings, running concurrently with your academic study. These placements will provide hands-on experience and help you apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts.

You’ll also be assigned an academic advisor who will provide regular support in tutor groups and act as a liaison between your academic work and professional placements. 🌟👩‍⚕️📅
