Upon completing their training at the Sargent Conservatory, students will be able to:

  1. Describe the cultural and historical contexts of theatrical practice. πŸ›οΈ

  3. Apply these skills to produce and perform theatre in various styles with creativity and competence. 🎨

  5. Assess power dynamics and biases within the arts and society, and work to promote equity and justice through theatre. βš–οΈ

  • Only courses with a grade of C- or above count toward fulfilling major requirements. πŸ“š
  • Auditions/interviews are required for all students planning to major in theatre. These are held each year during the spring semester for entrance into the following fall session. 🎀

  • 99 credit hours required for the major.
  • Applicable University Global Citizenship Program hours (with accommodations for theatre BFAs). 🌍
