The major in biochemistry is offered in collaboration with the biology and chemistry departments.

The multidisciplinary biotechnology program, with an emphasis on the biomedical aspects of biotechnology, includes an internship at The Institute of Human and Molecular Genetics at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School.

The physics program is offered as both a major and a minor.
