Throughout the Degree:

• Critical Thinking: Develop the ability to think critically about your own work and that of others, focusing on technical skills and visual languages.
• Practice-Based & Written Assignments: Apply your skills to various assignments with weekly feedback and end-of-project critiques from lecturers and peers.
• Personal Agency: As you advance, you’ll have the freedom to respond to project briefs in your unique way, using techniques and genres you’re passionate about.

Year 1:

• Introduction to Photography: Engage in set projects to explore different photographic debates, genres, and techniques. Develop proficiency in using photographic facilities through lectures, seminars, workshops, and group practice projects. 🏛️📷

Year 2:

• Experimentation & Control: Take charge of your practice and research, exploring art, still life, commercial, fashion, and documentary photography. Develop a research project proposal and showcase your work in a public exhibition. 🎨📝

Year 3:

• Specialization & Final Projects: Focus on a chosen pathway, undertaking self-initiated projects supported by an expert tutor. Complete a major practice project and exhibit it at the public end-of-year degree show, alongside a written research project to prepare for professional life. 🖼️🚀
