🎵 Bachelor in Music Education: Shaping Future Musicians! This degree program is designed to meet the academic, artistic, and professional needs of those aspiring to become music teachers at the post-primary level, including Northern Ireland. 🎓🎼

While many graduates go on to teach, others use their degree as a springboard for further studies in performance, conducting, and composition, or explore postgraduate opportunities in media and the music business. 🌟🎤

The degree is offered in collaboration with the Technical University of Dublin Conservatoire of Music and Drama (TU Dublin Conservatoire) and, every other year, with the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). 🎶📚

The program provides an integrated course of study, focusing on:

  • Performance: Achieve a high standard in your principal instrument or voice. 🎹🎻
  • Musical Skills: Develop competencies in conducting, keyboard skills, and performance in choral, orchestral, and chamber music groups. 🎼🎷
  • Music Theory and History: Gain a solid grounding in harmony, counterpoint, composition, orchestration, analysis, history of music, and Irish traditional music. 📜🎵
