Forensic Science – Chemistry

Chemistry is a branch of science that explores how matter is composed, investigates the properties of matter and looks into ways in which chemicals combine, change and interact. Chemistry has applications in medicine, cosmetics, food and materials used in everyday life such as clothing, utensils, toys and packaging. It’s fundamental to understanding the natural world around us—the substances, properties and the processes in which they interact.

The key areas of Chemistry are Organic, Analytical, Physical, Inorganic and Biochemistry.
