Students minoring in Economics at Curry College will have the opportunity to be immersed in real-world, relevant courses focused on market analysis, financial decision-making, business strategy and economic policy, enhancing their professional toolbox for careers in corporate, governmental, and non-profit sectors.

Through this experience, students in any major will gain a broader and more nuanced understanding of the world around them leading to more informed decision-making, greater career opportunities, and a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of different fields of study.

Upon completion of the Economics Minor, students will be able to:

-Apply fundamental microeconomic and macroeconomic theories
-Analyze data using statistical tools and economic models.
-Evaluate arguments, identify assumptions, and form reasoned conclusions about business strategy, economic policies and events.
-Explain economic concepts clearly and persuasively in written and oral form.
-Recognize the role of economics in business, politics, and society.
